In what is apparently their first political endorsement, Association of Michigan Golf course owner has endorsed Rick Synder for Governor:
Michigan Golf course owners: Snyder will help the tourism industry
Organization makes first endorsement in political campaignLANSING, MI-(Marketwire - 4 October 2010) - The Michigan Golf Course Owners Association campaigned today the first back in the history of the organization by publicly support Rick Snyder for Governor, saying that he is the best candidate to help create jobs in the tourism industry.
"Our Organization do not usually participate in campaigns, but this election is too important to sit and wait," said Executive Director MGCOA Kate M. Moore. It is evident that Rick sees the value of the protection of the environment and the use of natural resources in Michigan to our advantage to drive the industry of tourism which will create jobs.
Tourism is the industry of the third State.
Michigan Golf course Owners Association represents the field golf and operators owners throughout the State.
Initially, I thought odd Golf Course managers would make political endorsement, but on reflection, its probably a measure of how bad things have gotten here in Michigan. There is a reason that you can play a course high-end in Michigan for half the price of three years - and that even then the prices were very reasonable compared to other lugares.después eight years of scrutiny of the mansion of the Governor, people here are looking for a cambio.Rick Snyder, the Republican candidate, is a former team and a current capitalist, industry exec by what he has come cred among business owners.
When WINS Synder - and its s when, not if - I hope he finds a way to permanently Fund pure Michigan tourism advertising campaigns.
